„Historical verticals“ is a scientific journal published in English by LEPL - David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia. It is committed to publishing peer-reviewed articles that make a significant contribution to the defence field and various branches of science such as social, humanitarian, exact and natural domains, etc.

Journal Goals, Mission and Concept: The journal aims to promote thorough and accurate scientific research and its dissemination by following different approaches and methods; In addition, it seeks to provide scientific community with information about modern scientific studies in the following fields - history, politics, diplomacy, regional studies, ethnology, ethnography, cultural anthropology, source studies, historiography, chronology, philosophy, historical geography, history of religion, culture, and other important issues.
The purpose of creating the journal is to offer competitive papers to scholars from different countries; to create an international comparative discussion platform for different scientific circles; to present high-quality scientific papers on military or international relations, politics and political science and make them as accessible as possible to the world scientific circles and any interested parties; and finally, to help a wide circle of readers interested in the mentioned directions.
The mission of the refereed and peer-reviewed journal "Defence and Science" is to develop military science and promote its general awareness in civil society.
The journal has its international editorial board.
The objectives of the journal are to establish a worthy place among highly rated international scientific publications, to place it in authoritative international databases recognized by international scientific circles, to expand the international audience of readers and authors, and to promote the journal.
